About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with strong PHP expertise to contribute to the modernization of an insurance platform.
You will join a small team of engineers working on platform migration, architectural improvements, and the progressive adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
This role is adecuado for an engineer who enjoys building scalable systems, collaborating closely with teammates, and experimenting with modern engineering approaches including AI-augmented development.
Responsibilities
Software Development
- Develop and maintain backend services primarily in PHP and Python
- Contribute to full-stack development when needed (Vue.js frontend)
- Participate in designing and implementing scalable features
- Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
Platform Modernization
- Contribute to the migration and refactoring of the insurance platform
- Help implement event-driven and distributed architectures
- Improve performance, scalability, and maintain
