Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.

Provide high‐quality customer service and technical excellence.

Discuss vehicle problems with drivers/operators to identify faults.

Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair for proper performance.

Tune engines using electronic equipment for smoother running.

Repair and replace worn or defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed.

Perform scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, lubrication, engine tune‐ups) to ensure smooth operation and compliance with pollution regulations.





Test and repair electrical systems, including lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection.

Reassemble engines and parts after repairs.

Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.

Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls.

Qualifications

Australian Trade Certificate in Automotive Technology

Minimum 1 year experience as a Motor Mechanic in a busy Australian workshop

Experience with all types of vehicles (not limited to a specific brand)

Experience with Ultra Tune network or general auto maintenance is an advantage
