SGM is seeking a Civil Engineer III in our Gunnison, Grand Junction or Durango, CO office. Our idóneo candidate will have a strong desire to live, work, and play in Western Colorado and want to be part of a high performing team that will help forward SGM’s mission to make its clients successful by delivering innovative, practical solutions.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE Certification or ability to obtain in the first year of employment
- Minimum 5-10 years engineering work experience
- Organized, fast learner, and detail oriented
- Ability to execute well-defined technical and engineering tasks
- Strong familiarity and working knowledge in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D design software with interest to expand CAD knowledge base. Ability to use Civil 3D as a design tool.
- Experience in general civil engineering and municipal engineering work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client service skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to conduct site visits in a mountain environment
