Project description:

The overall objective of the TROBA project is the research and development of new music automatic identification technologies capable of responding to increasingly complex use cases due to new forms of audio content production and consumption, in media and social networks: transformations of the original recording, sampling, generation of versions or new material from its transformation with generative AI tools.

Also, as part of the S.S. on MTG Research, a project related to the transfer for different use cases of the technology developed at the Music Technology Group.

Line of research: Research line in musical technology for technology transfer.

Tasks to be performed:

Development of AI methodologies of interest for musical education, working on the analysis of musical interpretations and the development of musical skills.
- Development of new state-of-the-art machine learning models for music analysis and integration of existing ones into Essentia audio analysis software.

Research and development of new deep learning models and datasets for musical representation learning (functions learning). Improvement and expansion of the existing musical corpus.

Technology transfer tasks adapting technologies to the needs of the use cases of the companies with which the research group works.

Dedication and working hours: Full time (35h/week)

Planned remuneration approx: 35.265,66 € gross per year
