Our valued customer is looking to strengthen their Data-centric Barcelona location with an experienced, hands-on leader to guide their top-notch Data Science team.
Your primary mission is to drive the data science vision for the ad-tech and revenue optimization products. This role is critical for ensuring our models and data pipelines remain effective in a dynamic landscape, directly impacting our mission to redefine mobile app monetization.
It's a US-based product company specializing in mobile app monetization. They operate globally, with main offices in Poland, Spain, and the USA, supplemented by remote team members around the world.
Note: Have to be based in or ready to relocate (sponsorship provided) to Barcelona, Spain.
What You'll Drive
- Set the technical vision and strategic direction for the Data Science team, ensuring your work directly aligns with business goals for revenue optimization.
- Lead the development and deployment of scalable, high-impact machine learning models for ad targeting, bid strategy, and performance analysis.
- Mentor and develop the data scientists on your team, fostering a collaborative culture of innovation and continuous growth.
- Guarantee the efficiency, relevance, and scalability of data pipelines and models in a high-volume production environment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional product and engineering teams to translate complex business challenges into actionable data science projects.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably within a product-focused environment.
- You bring 2+ years of experience specifically within the AdTech domain.
- You have a proven track record of leadership, with at least 2 years of experience guiding and managing data science teams.
- You are proficient in Python and SQL, alongside data manipulation frameworks like PySpark and Pandas.
- You possess hands-on experience training DNN models using libraries such as PyTorch
