- Plan, design, conduct and report projects using existing or new scientific methods and theories to solve problems, and improve or generate new products and processes.
- Devising research methods, setting up laboratory tests equipment, building models and prototypes, calculating and analyzing test results, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions.
- Evaluate the economic impact of a project.
- Providing support to factories on various tasks such as pilot production, quality control issues, reworks, product adjustments, manufacturing procedures, and complaints.
- Preparing calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation to facilitate the manufacturing of prototype designs.
- Developing and maintaining technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and development.
