- Ensures the product design and product industrialization including associated tools (moulds, checking fixtures, validation equipment, etc.) within the QCT requirements (non-event launches, robust manufacturing)
- Ensures cross functional management of the extended team

Activities:

Product design & validation:
- Works according to HSE requirements
- Can be involved in upstream phases of the project (expertise phase, acquisition phase)
- Analyses Customer Needs and Draw-up PO Specifications
- Defines the concepts of the product design to meet customers specifications and GD&T; and ensure that the Plastic Omnium standard conception rules are respected
- Ensures that the design for manufacturing (assembly, paint, plant & packaging) are fulfilled
