Job Description:
An opportunity for a Structural Analysis Software Developer has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the Structural Analysis Methods & Tools Team. Our department is in charge of defining and developing both the current run-mode and the future Structural Analysis Tools (ISAMI) used for the sizing and certification of series and next-generation Airbus products.

The team is multicultural, fully transnational, and operates in a integral, collaborative environment. The jobholder will reinforce our engineering digitalization capabilities, combining advanced coding skills with airframe structural knowledge to address key challenges in data continuity, lead time, and next-gen simulation frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Design and develop the next-generation simulation platform (Advanced C++ framework), including GUI, transverse services, and multidisciplinary capabilities (FEM pre/postprocessing, surrogate models, AI).




- Code and implement specific capabilities within the Stress Solver Repository using Modern C++ and Python.
- Automate structural analysis processes into ISAMI in alignment with the Airframe Engineering digital strategy.
- Maintain and optimize existing methods and tools applied to current Airbus programs, ensuring performance improvements and business continuity.
- Define new sizing and optimization methods to set the standard for future development processes, securing data consistency across the lifecycle.
- Supervise and validate sub-contracted software development activities.
