? About the Role
Position: Open Application – Future Engine Department Roles
Location: Strait of Gibraltar
Vessel-based: Yes – shore beds may be provided (depending on tides and luck)
Contract: Rotational – typically 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

? Who We’re Looking For
Engine Department crew who can handle the heat (literally).
Officers:

Chief Engineer, Second Engineer, Third Engineer, Fourth Engineer
Ratings:

Motorman, Oiler, Wiper
Cadets:

Engine Cadets with enthusiasm and clean overalls

You don’t panic when the alarms beep. You know your way around a toolbox. And you understand that a smoothly running engine room is a beautiful thing (even if it smells like diesel and determination).
You’ve got:
✅ Valid STCW certificates

✅ MLC-compliant Medical Certificate

✅ Seaman’s Book

✅ Passport (you’ll need it)

✅ Engine experience (highly preferred)

✅ FRB certificate (mandatory for Motormen)

✅ Marlins English score (or the ability to explain oil pressure in fluent English)

✅ Team spirit, safety-first mindset, and willingness to ship out when called
