PhD position in 2DMoire and Quantum Materials for Photodetectors

ICFO is offering a PhD position to highly motivated student who wish to start his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will be joining the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics led by Prof. Dr. Frank Koppens .

The successful candidate will be joining the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics led by Prof. Dr. Frank Koppens . The group studies interactions between light and 2D materials for quantum technologies and novel ways of manipulating materials.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- Optoelectronic and transport measurements, including at cryogenic temperatures

- Development and optimization of graphene-based mid-infrared photodetectors

- Dissemination of results through publications and conference presentations
