Project Manager – Space Programs
Indra Space delivers high‑performance small satellite solutions for LEO missions. As a key member of the Space Business Unit, the Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end space missions, ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in a highly innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end space missions, ensuring achievement of project objectives regarding scope, cost, schedule, and performance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, integration, validation, operations, and program management activities.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies throughout the mission lifecycle.
- Act as the main interface with customers, partners, and international stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable space standards and program requirements, including ESA methodologies and processes.
- Monitor project execution, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies when required.
- Coordinate technical reviews and project milestones with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support decision‑making processes through effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ensure alignment between technical, operational, and business objectives throughout project execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management within aerospace, defense, or space programs.
- Proven track record managing complex, multidisciplinary projects involving international stakeholders.
- Experience in end‑to‑end mission management is highly valued.
- Solid knowledge of space systems,
including satellites, ground control systems, and mission operations.
- Familiarity with ESA standards and the space program lifecycle.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning methodologies.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and ability to understand and interpret technical documentation.
- Professional fluency in English.
