Qualifications

- Educational Background : Solid educational background in Data Science, Information Systems, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar quantitative fields
- Targeted Experience : 4+ years of hands‑on experience in Data Analysis or Data Engineering. A proven track record operating within highly regulated environments is essential
- Sustainability & ESG Expertise : Understanding of carbon accounting (GHG Protocol Scopes 1, 2, and 3) and mandatory corporate reporting directives (specifically CSRD and the EU Taxonomy). Familiarity with global ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) is critical for success in this role
- Technical Mastery in Visualization : Advanced proficiency in Power BI reporting and data modelling (including Power Query and Power Pivot). You build scalable, high‑performance ESG dashboards that executives use to track sustainability goals
- Data Extraction and Integration Skills : Strong SQL skills, knowledge of data lakes/warehouses, and hands‑on experience with API integrations. Experience extracting and unifying carbon/environmental datasets alongside unstructured operational data from complex enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday, supply chain ERPs) is a major plus
- Strict Data Governance Mindset : Deep understanding of master data management (MDM) and data quality principles. You instinctively check for data quality, confidentiality, integrity,



and traceability before publishing any dataset
- Analytical Rigor : A proactive "data janitor" mindset with strong problem‑solving skills. You take messy, decentralized sustainability data (e.g., utility bills, global supply chain emissions, fragmented HR metrics) and structure it into reliable, automated KPI feeds

Responsibilities

- Build and Maintain ESG Dashboards : Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI visualization boards, identify mandatory sustainability fields, and automate notifications to provide actionable climate and corporate insights for integral leadership
- Data Integration & Modeling : Extract, clean, and structure complex environmental and operational datasets from various global systems, building robust data models to support automated, cross‑system ESG data flow
- Drive Data Quality Analysis : Perform rigorous data quality and volume analysis on carbon and operational metrics to define migration rules, troubleshoot anomalies, and ensure system performance requirements are met
- Ensure ESG Audit Readiness : Implement strict data governance validation rules to ensure all sustainability datasets maintain absolute integrity, traceability, and compliance for upcoming CSRD mandates and third‑party audit




- Support System Integration : Collaborate with developers, process owners, and sustainability leaders to map data architectures and support the integration of enterprise systems through APIs to capture comprehensive Scope 1, 2, and 3 emission data
- Translate Data to Business Impact : Act as the core ESG data subject‑matter expert, taking fragmented sustainability metrics and transforming them into clear, reliable reporting structures that drive strategic business decisions and environmental compliance
