As Digital Enablement Manager you will proactively identify and drive digital opportunities that support our needs and positively impact process efficiency.

Reporting to the Digital & Process Management Lead, you are part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) and manage cross‑functional relationships with the DOP Leadership Team, CoE LT, DOP Category, DOP Delivery, IT, external providers and internal stakeholders.

Your role is an individual contributor focused on digital enablement, stakeholder advisory and transformation governance.

Drive general operational efficiency, process compliance and large‑scale digital adoption.

Key Accountabilities

- Digital Strategy & Roadmap – develop and govern the digital enablement strategy, set objectives, timelines and performance indicators.
- Technology Assessment – research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Machine Learning, RPA) to enhance procurement processes.
- Stakeholder Advisory & Management – act as a trusted advisor to business units and IT, understand priorities and foster collaborative digital transformation.
- AI Pipeline – spearhead AI transformation by coordinating or building solutions with RSS Demand to Pay and Roche Digital Technology.
- Value Communication – highlight ROI and impact through data‑driven presentations, success stories and progress reports to senior stakeholders.




- Process Improvement – analyse current procurement activities, prioritise inefficiencies for digital intervention and automation.
- Implementation & Adoption – guide projects, create roadmaps, liaise with external partners and promote seamless adoption through training and communication.

Who you are

- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience – 5–7 years in a digital transformation role, with at least 3 years in procurement, proven track record of implementing procurement technologies.
- AI & Digitalisation – Understanding of emerging digital solutions, including AI Models, Machine Learning, LLMs, Agentic Engineering and e‑procurement platforms, SRM systems, spend analytics.
- Process & Project Expertise – Deep understanding of procurement processes, project management methodologies, resource management and milestone tracking.
- Analytics & Problem Solving – Strong ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, patterns and address operational challenges.
- Change & Matrix Leadership – Excellent matrix leadership skills, ability to guide, inspire and motivate diverse teams; drive adoption activities and deliver customer‑focused value.
- Mindset & Soft Skills – Strategic thinker, continuous improvement mindset; active listening, willingness to experiment, generosity in knowledge sharing and open to feedback.
- Languages – Business‑level fluency in English required.
