Overview

We are looking for an Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment to join the Quality Department, providing support in:

- The Food Safety and Quality Assurance system, based on Codex Alimentarius and GFSI standards
- The Environmental Management System, based on ISO 14001 and EMAS

Description

A integral food company with a production facility in Valladolid is looking for an Engineer reporting to the QA Manager. You will:

- Ensure compliance with established Food Safety & Quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with established Environmental standards.
- Maintain and improve the established Food Safety & Quality management system.
- Maintain and improve the established Environmental management system.

- Participate in the implementation of Company policies at the plant.
- Pay particular attention to customer complaints and attend meetings.
- Implementation and monitoring of action plans in the event of any deviation.




- Attend meetings at the group's head office and ensure that all decisions are aligned with and implemented at the factory, whilst upholding the position of the Valladolid plant.

Profile

- High level of English
- Experience in food manufacturing, food science, or related technical field
- Knowledge of food safety and environmental regulations
- Knowledge of food safety and environmental standards
- Knowledge of sustainability
- Problem-solving mindset with willingness to question assumptions and test alternatives
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
