Stefanini is hiring a Madrid-based Business Analyst to join one of our clients.
- Work model : hybrid (3 days per week on-site in Madrid)
- Role duration : 7 months, with possible extending
- Contractor/freelancer contract : 18 days a month
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to identify, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements and objectives. They will act as a liaison between business division and technology teams to ensure that projects align with goals. The Business Analyst will contribute to the successful implementation of solutions by providing insights, recommendations, and support throughout the software project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements. Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned.
- Requirement Analysis: Analyze and prioritize business requirements, assess feasibility, and provide recommendations for solutions or process improvements.
- Process Modeling: Create visual representations of current and future processes using appropriate tools and techniques. Identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to provide insights, identify trends, and support decision‑making processes. Ensure data quality and integrity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between Business division, project teams, and technical teams.
- Ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project objectives and requirements.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with solution architects and designers to translate business requirements into functional specifications, mock‑ups, or prototypes.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
Define test cases and participate in testing activities to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Risk Assessment: Identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and work on risk mitigation strategies to minimize negative outcomes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirement documents, project plans, user manuals, and other relevant materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements.
Role requirements:
- Advanced English fluency (written and spoken) - mandatory
- At least Intermediate Spanish fluency (written and spoken)
- At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software, digital, or technology environments
- Strong skills in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications
- Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with process mapping and business process improvement
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience supporting solution design, testing, and UAT
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, or Lucidchart
