Rohde & Schwarz España is looking for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer responsible for delivering high on‑site technical support including installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of RF and radiocommunication systems, body scanners and amplifiers.

Tasks

- Provide remote and on‑site technical support for RF devices and systems, body scanners, and frequency amplifiers, including remote incident management and troubleshooting. Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform installation, configuration, commissioning and training of QPS and BBA. Support warranty and SLA compliance.
- Deliver advanced technical support for body scanners and amplifier systems, including in‑depth diagnostics and coordination/escalation with specialized engineering teams for complex resolutions.
- Collaborate with international R&S; locations as required.
- Train on new devices and technical service methods.

Qualifications

- Engineering or equivalent degree in Telecommunications or similar.
- Medium‑high knowledge in wireless radiocommunication devices (V/UHF‑HF).
- Basic IP and networking principles and knowledge in computer science.
- Basic project coordination skills, leadership mindset and strong accountability.
- High skill in field operations and services.
- High flexibility and the ability to work independently and be solution‑oriented.




- Strong communication skills and customer orientation.
- Written and verbal communication, English skills (required equivalent to level B2/C1).
- Strong interest in learning about new technologies and devices in line with new company developments and requirements in the area.
- Microsoft Excel skills.
- High availability to travel. Highly valued.
- Familiar with working in Defense environments.
- Hands‑on field experience in the electronics sector, with customer management and results‑oriented performance.
- Experience in coordinating multi‑site service campaigns or leading small technical teams, showcasing effective project execution and stakeholder management.
- Experience in tests and validation of electronic products.
- Programming of test applications in any commercial software language.
- Microsoft Office and SAP skills.
