NCC Operators deliver 24×7×365 frontline operations, performing monitoring, event handling, Tier‑1 troubleshooting, and escalation across UN ICT, network, satellite, cloud, and data‑centre environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform continuous monitoring using UN‑approved tools across:
- Network, servers, storage
- Satellite & RF infrastructure
- Security devices
- Public cloud (Azure, AWS)
- M365 and application platforms
- Handle event management and alarm triage
- Perform Tier‑1 troubleshooting following approved SOPs
- Escalate incidents to:
- Tier‑2 engineering teams
- External service providers (as required)
- Support incident, critical incident, and security incident processes
- Execute approved low‑level operational activities (e.g.
checks, verifications, routine actions)
- Maintain accurate incident records in UN‑provided ITSM/CRM tools
- Contribute inputs for:
- Shift reports
- Incident and change reporting
- Ensure 15‑minute shift handover overlap with incoming operators
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant NCC / NOC / ICT operations experience
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- English proficiency: CEFR B2 or above
- Ability to work rotational 24×7 shifts on‑site
