We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Academic Manager to be part of our amazing team. You’ll work hand in hand with other Academic Managers and the commercial team to ensure top-quality education and happy students! You will have a big great teachers team too.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily academy operations (schedules, classrooms, teachers, etc.)
- Motivate and lead the teaching team
- Ensure high-quality teaching & student satisfaction
- Support teachers and students, including covering classes if needed
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help promote the academy to corporate & institutional clients
- Assist in product development & marketing strategies
- Participate in recruitment & training

Qualifications

- Fluent in English & Spanish (a must!)
- A strong teamwork mindset
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Great communication & organizational skills
- Experience in online teaching (ideally via Zoom)
- IT skills & ability to adapt to new technologies
- Previous management experience is a plus!
- CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent initial teaching qualification
- Right to work in the EU
- Degree (e.g., BA, BSc)
- Experience teaching Young Learners
- Accommodation: 3 NIGHTS
- Holiday: 1 month during summer, Christmas and holy week, also 2 days in the “Feria de Córdoba”

About the School

IH Cordoba, known locally as “Academia Britanica”,



was the first IH to be founded by John and Brita Haycraft in 1953.

Since that time the school has continued to grow and we now have two locations.

The CENTRO school is in the old town in two modernized Andalusian houses. The school has 22 classrooms, a staffroom, a computer room and an open-plan study centre. The building is fully air-conditioned, with central heating, WIFI and all classrooms have computers and interactive whiteboards.

The SIERRA school is in a residential area, with modern facilities. We invest in the decoration and facilities, to make the classrooms and teachers rooms comfortable and well equipped. Visitors say the premises are a pleasure in which to work and to study.

We have a large team of academic managers and support staff, always on hand to help you.

Cordoba is a city with a population of 350,000 in the very centre of Andalusia, the southernmost region of Spain. It is the only city in the world with four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but it’s not so big so you won’t have problems finding your way around.

Cordoba enjoys a hot sunny climate during most of the year and it is well known for its history, its beauty and the friendliness of its people. Cordoba has a rich history, and Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, Jewish and Christian influences can be found all over the city. For seven centuries Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures have flourished side by side.
