As Legal Counsel at Ria and Xe, you will deliver quality legal support to a integral business, focusing on international commercial contracts and cross-border matters. You will work with the Legal Director and Senior Legal Counsel to align agreements with business goals and regulatory requirements. You’ll tackle diverse legal challenges in a fast-paced environment and help mitigate risk with practical solutions. This role offers an opportunity to shape cross-border contracting and regulatory strategy within a growing fintech-focused team.

• Review, draft, and negotiate international commercial agreements in English under common law frameworks
• Collaborate with internal business teams to ensure documentation reflects intended relationships
• Analyze and apply regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions where the company operates
• Proactively identify legal risks and propose business-oriented solutions
• Assist in finalizing legal documents and managing contract processes
• Provide legal support to multiple internal departments ensuring regulatory compliance
• Support senior legal team on strategic, regulatory, and cross-border matters
Responsabilidades
• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction
• 6-7 years of legal experience including at least 4 years in a reputable law firm
• Near-native or professional fluency in English
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in English
• Strong experience with commercial contracts, preferably international and cross-border
• Solid understanding of common law style agreements and drafting
• Ability to communicate clearly with international stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with a practical, business-oriented approach to legal risk
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or regulated sectors desirable
• Additional languages are a plus
