As a Senior Finance Systems Engineer, you design, build, and continuously improve our Workday Financials landscape. You will partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable Workday solutions and lead end-to-end technical delivery from discovery to production support. You’ll shape the Finance Systems ecosystem under leadership guidance, contributing to platform evolution and long-term ERP scalability. This role offers the chance to impact general finance operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Lead functional and technical design of complex Workday Financials enhancements across multiple domains
• Translate accounting and finance needs into scalable, maintainable solutions
• Evaluate options, trade-offs, and recommend implementations aligned with standards
• Lead technical discovery sessions for medium to large initiatives
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from discovery through testing, deployment, and production support
• Provide guidance to other Finance Systems Engineers and promote best practices
• Configure and optimize Workday Financials ensuring consistency, scalability, and data integrity

• Drive continuous improvements via configuration, automation, and simplification
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Design and implement lightweight integrations and workflow automations using Make.com
• Collaborate with integration engineers to ensure reliable end-to-end data flows




• Troubleshoot integrations and improve resilience and maintainability
• Partner with Corporate Accounting on projects, month-end close, and production support
• Investigate complex issues and perform root cause analysis across Workday and connected systems
• Support adoption of new Workday functionality delivered through biannual releases
• Evaluate new Workday capabilities and contribute to platform enhancements
• Participate in Workday biannual release planning, impact assessments, testing, and implementation

Responsabilidades
• Extensive experience supporting Workday Financials in a complex enterprise environment
• Strong functional knowledge across multiple Workday Financials modules (GL, Procurement, AP, Expenses, Banking, Billing, AR, Revenue Management)
• Expert-level proficiency configuring Workday processes, security, custom reporting, and complex calculated fields
• Proven experience leveraging EIBs for efficient data management
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, journal entries, and data flows
• Experience leading end-to-end solution delivery from discovery to post-production support
• Experience designing scalable, technically sound solutions balancing business requirements and best practices
• Experience working with Workday integrations, EIBs, middleware, or similar technologies
• Experience working in Agile software delivery teams
• Full professional proficiency in English
