Experteer Overview
In this role you will design and implement the IoT packet-switched network, shaping Vodafone’s IoT service platforms. You’ll translate high-level solutions into detailed implementation designs for Mobile Core and IP networks, and define roadmaps for 3–5 years. You will own capacity management and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver multi-year programs. This position offers impact across global teams and an opportunity to influence next‑gen IoT connectivity and 5G integration at scale.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Review and convert High-Level Design (HLD) into Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for Mobile Packet Core u0026 IP networks
• Create detailed configuration, security and operational guidelines in design docs
• Develop Mobile Core network strategy and 3–5 year evolution roadmap for IoT
• Manage capacity on the network and track impact on project schedules
• Mentor team members and share expertise across the group
• Provide timely problem analysis and escalation updates to management on projects

Responsabilidades
• University degree in telecommunications or electrical/electronic or similar
• CCNA, CCIE, JCNIE certifications




• Hands-on configuring/troubleshooting Mobile Core Packet Switch platforms (SGSN/CSGN, MME, GGSN/PGW, NB-IoT)
• 5+ years’ experience with 2G/3G/4G/LTE mobile packet core nodes
• Strong understanding of call protocols, call flows and mobile network products
• Good knowledge of 5G technologies and cloud
• Ability to lead virtual tech teams and manage diverse stakeholders
• Experience integrating 3GPP interfaces to external nodes (DNS, RADIUS, PCRF, IMS)
• Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and demonstrate subject matter expertise
• Strong network design documentation skills
• Understanding of NFV infrastructure
• Ability to create MOPs
• Knowledge of OSS/BSS for fault and performance management
• Good IP networking skills including MPLS and BGP
• Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on packet-switched platforms
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Perl)
• Linux knowledge
