Experteer Overview
In this role you shape the transactional risk insurance for Mu0026amp;A deals, building a regional portfolio within a collaborative team. You will analyze financials, market and deal specifics to underwrite, price, and negotiate policy terms with brokers and insureds. You’ll manage complex Mu0026amp;A insurance processes and coordinate with external counsel to issue final documentation. The role supports the company's objectives by developing profitable broker and client relationships and upholding standards. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Analyse data and market conditions for assigned accounts to support underwriting decisions
• Follow underwriting guidelines and present pricing and negotiation recommendations to the underwriting committee
• Autonomously manage the underwriting process for complex Mu0026A insurance projects
• Draft, negotiate and tailor policy terms to address transaction-specific risks
• Coordinate and oversee external legal counsel involvement on each Mu0026A deal




• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, lawyers, PE firms, deal principals, and Tokio Marine HCC offices worldwide
• Attend off-site events, conferences and meetings
• Participate in or lead special projects on underwriting standards, best practices and legal compliance

Responsabilidades
• 3–5 years of experience in transactions-related roles (law firm, corporate legal, financial services advisory, private equity) or TRI underwriting
• Bachelor or Master degree in Law
• Excellent written and spoken English; French or Italian also required, Spanish or Portuguese a plus
• Advanced knowledge of legal exposures in transactions (taxation, breaches, litigation, price adjustment, damages)
• Proven experience in negotiating or mediating representations and warranties in transactional risk insurance
• Solid understanding of financial statements is advantageous
