As a Senior Software Engineer in Glovo’s Quick-Commerce Global Services, you will help build a scalable platform that powers rapid, everyday needs across the Delivery Hero ecosystem. You’ll work with cross-functional teams in Barcelona to onboard vendors and deliver robust backend systems, addressing complex problems and driving architectural decisions. Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Java and/or Kotlin experience (mandatory)
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SNS/SQS, Google Pub/Sub)
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
• Strong communication skills in English
