Experteer Overview
As Compliance Advisory Officer, you will act as a trusted advisor to TP ICAP’s European business, embedding regulatory requirements into day-to-day operations. You will support the Compliance Manager to shape strategy, culture, and advisory activities across Conduct, Markets, and Wholesale Financial Services. You will interpret MiFID II/MiFIR and other guidance, translating rules into practical actions for the business. This role offers meaningful impact as you help maintain regulatory compliance, performance, and integrity across Madrid and continental Europe. You will work with senior leaders to strengthen controls and governance in a dynamic, cross-border setting.

• Provide practical, risk-based regulatory guidance to the business across applicable regulations
• Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day regulatory queries and provide timely guidance
• Advise on MiFID II/MiFIR implementation and related regulatory developments and actions
• Support oversight of European operations to ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify emerging regulatory risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies
• Partner with Risk, Legal and control functions to maintain an integrated control framework
• Assist design, enhancement and embedding of compliance controls, policies and procedures
• Support development of efficient operating models and control environments




• Contribute to regulatory and governance reporting and management information
• Build relationships with senior management, regulators, and internal stakeholders
• Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives across the business
• Review monitoring outcomes and oversee timely remediation of issues
• Support regulatory oversight across EMEA locations and promote consistent standards
• Undertake project work and occasional regional travel

Responsabilidades
• Significant experience in Compliance, Regulatory Advisory, or Financial Services Regulatory Law
• Clear, practical regulatory advisory capabilities with stakeholder influence
• Strong knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR and European wholesale financial markets regulation
• Ability to translate regulatory guidance into practical business solutions
• Proven track record in managing complex compliance initiatives and stakeholder outcomes
• Understanding of wholesale markets and market structure, including interdealer broking
• Experience designing proportionate regulatory controls and mitigations
• Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders for regulatory and strategic initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and accountability
• Knowledge of risk-based monitoring, control design
