Experteer Overview
In this role you drive global business development for Hitachi Energy’s Power Consulting, building a robust pipeline and coordinating with regional teams to expand market presence. You engage early with customers to shape requirements, lead commercial deals, and craft compelling value propositions. You will align sales and marketing across regions, support portfolio growth, and strengthen advisory partnerships in a fast-evolving energy transition landscape. This is a globally focused role with high autonomy and visible impact.

• Drive general business development and create a strong pipeline across utilities, developers, and industrial customers
• Identify and qualify opportunities with regional leads and consulting managers across global markets
• Engage customers early to shape requirements and position services ahead of procurement
• Lead strategic sales opportunities through qualification, proposals, negotiations, and contract awards
• Develop compelling proposal narratives, differentiators, and value propositions with technical credibility
• Provide guidance on commercial structuring, pricing, and risk management during bids and contracting
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders as trusted advisor
• Collaborate with regional teams across Europe, North America, Latin America, APAC, and MEA for aligned growth
• Support unified sales/marketing processes, pipeline reviews, and marketing initiatives
Responsabilidades
• 10+ years in sales, business development, account management, consulting, or commercial leadership in power/energy sectors
• Knowledge of power systems, grid integration, renewables, transmission planning, or energy consulting
• Proven track record of growing order intake and developing multi-region pipelines
• Experience leading or supporting full sales cycles for consulting or advisory services
• Strong cross-functional collaboration in a global matrix organization
• Experience working across geographies and coordinating with regional teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to engage credibly with engineers and executive-level stakeholders
• Autonomous, structured, able to manage multiple priorities across regions
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30–40%
