Experteer Overview
In this role you help lead climate action within AECOM’s Sustainable Design Team in Madrid. You guide projects from concept through delivery, driving decarbonisation and environmental performance. You’ll work with architects, engineers and planners on international projects, applying data-driven design and mentoring junior staff. The position offers impact at scale, shaping sustainable buildings and masterplans for a better world.

• Lead sustainability and decarbonisation strategies for buildings and masterplans
• Deliver environmental and building performance analyses to inform design decisions from early concept stages
• Develop and apply data-driven and parametric design workflows for sustainable outcomes

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in sustainable design or environmental consultancy
• Experience developing sustainability and decarbonisation strategies for buildings and masterplans
• Experience delivering environmental analyses and building performance assessments during design
• Experience supporting project delivery within multidisciplinary design teams
• Strong understanding of low-carbon design and building physics
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and embodied carbon analyses (e.g., One Click LCA)
• Experience with environmental simulation tools (IES VE, EnergyPlus, Radiance, Ladybug Tools, Honeybee)
• Desirable: Grasshopper proficiency; Python or scripting knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and MS Office
• Knowledge of LEED, BREEAM, WELL, or Passivhaus
