Join Celonis to shape the Design System that scales across an enterprise-grade Process Intelligence Platform. You will own front-end architecture and interaction decisions, translating complex data and AI-driven behavior into intuitive experiences for humans and agents. As a senior IC, you’ll set standards, mentor teammates, and stay hands-on in design and code while collaborating with product, design, and engineering. This role offers impact at scale, contributing to a living design system used across internal and AI-driven outputs. You’ll work at the intersection of design, engineering, and product to deliver fast, accessible, high-performance UI experiences.

• Design and build production components in Angular and TypeScript, with a foundation in HTML/CSS and semantic markup
• Own interaction decisions, component design, and front-end architecture end-to-end
• Translate complex process-data and AI-driven behaviors into clear, usable operator experiences
• Set front-end quality standards for polish, motion, performance, and accessibility
• Drive rapid prototyping to explore novel interaction concepts
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to evolve the design system
• Maintain tokens-as-code (DTCG format) and structure component metadata/docs/APIs for AI agents




• Author and maintain Figma Code Connect mappings linking Figma and coded components
• Build evals, visual-regression, accessibility, and token-compliance checks into CI
• Use AI tooling daily to critique and improve outputs, applying senior design judgment
• Lead system initiatives and mentor other designers and engineers

Responsabilidades
• Around 5-8 years in design engineering / UX engineering / front-end, with hands-on design system experience
• Strong UX instincts and ability to own design decisions with minimal oversight
• Front-end skills in Angular and TypeScript; solid HTML/CSS foundations; openness to React
• Deep understanding of design token architecture and modern token pipelines
• Strong Figma fluency and ability to code-fluidly translate design to implementation
• Accessibility expertise (WCAG 2.2) implemented in code
• Hands-on experience with AI design and coding tools and a principled stance on their use
• Product-minded with ownership, leadership, and senior-level collaboration
