Offer Description

Be part of the Laser Systems & Applications Unit within the R&D; department, responsible for the following duties:

- Lead technological lines in optical and acoustic monitoring and laser spectroscopy, promoting the development and maturation of new lines of work.
- Coordinate and supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the fulfillment of objectives, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
- Coordinate and participate in the execution of European and national R&D;&I; projects.
- Act as a technical liaison with companies and technology partners, facilitating the definition and monitoring of R&D; projects.
- Promote technology transfer, the exploitation of results, and the positioning of the center.

Education:

- Engineering degree or bachelor´s degree.
- Master´s/ Doctorate in laser technologies.
- Minimum of 8 years' professional experience in leadership and coordination of technical or R&D; teams.
- Solid experience in technologies for monitoring and spectroscopic characterization of materials,



developed in applied R&D; environments.
- Knowledge and experience in the design, development, and integration of systems and instrumentation.
- Significant participation in European and/or national R&D; projects.
- High level of English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel. Driver's license and own vehicle

Desirable qualifications and skills:

- Technical profile in laser applications and optical systems.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and signal processing for measurement and monitoring systems.
- Experience or knowledge in data analysis and processing applied to spectroscopic techniques and/or process monitoring systems.
- Experience in the integration of mechatronic systems and complex technological solutions.
