As a Senior Backend Engineer at Lighthouse, you will shape our core pricing management system, including overbooking autopilot and the new Recommendations Engine. You’ll build distributed services, data pipelines, and autopilot infrastructure using Go and Python, collaborating with data science engineers, product managers, and peers to deliver impactful pricing solutions for hospitality. You will influence service boundaries and data ownership while leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development. Join a cross-functional squad focused on reliable, scalable systems that drive revenue.

• Develop and maintain backend services for the pricing manager system
• Build and manage distributed services, data pipelines, and autopilot infrastructure using Go and Python
• Collaborate in a cross-functional squad to deliver features from concept to deployment
• Apply architectural thinking to influence service boundaries, data ownership, and tradeoffs
• Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools to accelerate development, documentation, and daily tasks
• Contribute to full development lifecycle,



including reading/reviewing frontend code when needed
• Ensure reliability and performance of systems exposing pricing recommendations to internal services

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code

• Proactive, collaborative, ownership-driven attitude
• Ability to read, reason about, and contribute to frontend code when needed
• Fluent in English
