Experteer Overview
You will lead the Applied AI Learning team, building the intelligence layer behind Preply's learning product. You define the portfolio of AI capabilities, drive cross-team delivery, and translate model outputs into real learner impact. You turn rich learning data into a hyper-personalized learning journey that accelerates progress for learners and tutors. You engage with product, design, data, and engineering to ensure AI signals enhance the full learning journey and growth of the platform. This is a mission-driven role at a unicorn EdTech company shaping education at global scale.

• Own and define the Applied AI product portfolio, prioritizing capabilities and sequencing work across teams
• Translate rich learner/tutor data into a world-class, personalized learning system
• Serve as a bridge between the Applied AI squad and the rest of product to maximize impact
• Incorporate user needs into strategic decisions and shape the portfolio from top down
• Define hard problems (e.g.,



what is learner progress for a model to predict) and collaborate with learning design
• Partner with Data and Engineering to align vision, outcomes, and execution
• Connect the intelligence layer to wider product areas, including top-of-funnel growth signals

Responsabilidades
• Strategy and vision for a technical domain with multi-quarter planning
• Learner and tutor empathy reflected in prioritization
• Machine learning experience at large scale
• Deep machine learning fluency with ability to discuss model choices and evaluation
• Deeply data-driven with hands-on data analysis
• Organizational influence to align stakeholders and prioritize ML initiatives
• Strong communication to articulate complex work at leadership level
• Experimentation rigor with A/B testing and result interpretation
• Comfort with ambiguity and turning research questions into measurable goals
