Experteer Overview
As Chief Development Officer, you will lead end-to-end development of mixed-use, hospitality-led and branded residential projects across Europe, reporting to the Board. You drive strategy, oversee the full lifecycle from acquisition to handover, and ensure quality, profitability, brand compliance and sustainability. You will shape growth through complex, high-value pipelines and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver transformative developments. This role offers strategic impact, board exposure, and the chance to scale a diversified European portfolio.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead development strategy and execution for mixed-use, branded residences across Europe
• Drive projects from inception through planning, design, delivery, and handover
• Advise Board on opportunities, risks, market trends and investment decisions
• Support acquisition, underwriting, and investment committee processes with development insights
• Ensure development programs, budgets, quality standards, and commercial objectives are met
• Develop governance frameworks and reporting structures for projects




• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the development lifecycle
• Direct multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, consultants, PMs, specialists) to ensure design excellence and brand adherence
• Lead design coordination, engineering, sustainability, and value engineering initiatives
• Oversee budgeting, cost planning, and financial forecasting; challenge appraisals and cash flows
• Manage construction activities across multiple projects and jurisdictions with external teams
• Interface with operators, JV partners, investors, lenders, and authorities

Responsabilidades
• 15+ years of senior real estate development experience
• Track record delivering large-scale mixed-use developments
• Experience in branded residential and hospitality-led projects
• Ability to take projects from concept/acquisition to completion and handover
• Experience operating across multiple European jurisdictions
• Extensive exposure to complex urban regeneration, mixed-use, and master-planned projects
• Board-level reporting experience
