In this role you will lead technical studies and guide engineering decisions for complex HVDC projects, working across international teams from tender to commissioning. You help ensure reliable, high-performing HVDC solutions while contributing to the growth of a new Spanish engineering capability. You will collaborate with experts to advance engineering practices and shape project outcomes. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead power system studies and dynamic simulations for HVDC transmission projects
• Drive technical decisions on control strategies and system performance throughout project execution
• Act as technical reference within project teams and mentor less experienced engineers
• Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews, factory tests, and commissioning activities




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary international teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery
• Contribute to developing and maturing engineering practices and establish the new Spanish engineering team

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Engineering Physics or related discipline
• Solid experience in power system studies, HVDC, FACTS, grid integration or similar complex electrical environments
• Strong knowledge of PSCAD, PSSE, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, ETAP or equivalents
• Proven ability to work independently, lead technical activities and manage complex engineering challenges
• Fluent English; Spanish valued, Swedish a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with a proactive approach
