Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead SAP BI initiatives within Airbus Helicopters’ Data u0026amp; Analytics team, shaping scalable data solutions that connect SAP BW with the Palantir Foundry ecosystem. You will guide engineers, design robust architectures, ensure security and compliance, and drive adoption of new SAP BI features. This position blends hands-on expertise with strategic leadership to support digital continuity across a general aerospace leader. You will work in an agile context to deliver high-performance data products that enable informed decisions.

• Serve as the primary technical expert for the SAP BI platform across the organization
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineers on SAP BI usage for ingestion, processing, storage, analysis, and visualization
• Design and architect robust, scalable SAP BI data and analytics solutions aligned with IT architecture and data strategy
• Lead the integration of SAP BI with other enterprise systems and data sources
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize SAP BI environments for performance and reliability
• Define and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for SAP BI development and deployment
• Mentor junior team members and promote technical excellence across the organization
• Coordinate with central Airbus SAP BI teams on updates,



features, and issue resolution
• Ensure SAP BI-based solutions comply with security policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements
• Stay updated on SAP BI features and drive their adoption to enhance analytics capabilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation on SAP BI architecture and configurations

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP BI experience in a complex enterprise environment
• Master’s degree in a related technical field
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, LSA++ architectures, and data integration tools
• Programming/scripting skills in ABAP and SQL
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in data processing pipelines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of aviation/aerospace industry data challenges is a plus
• Fluency in English; French is advantageous
