Experteer Overview
In this role you drive advanced analytics within McKinsey's Wave transformation product, collaborating with product management to build scalable analytics solutions. You work with a cross-functional team to apply statistical modeling, ML, and GenAI to real client problems, translating analyses into actionable insights. You will push the boundaries of data science within Wave, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and shaping best practices. • Collaborate with product management to design, develop, and maintain analytics products aligned with data-science best practices
• Develop and refine statistical models and machine learning solutions (descriptive, predictive, segmentation)
• Tune and evaluate neural network models and GenAI implementations for efficiency and performance in segmentation use cases
• Leverage Databricks-based workflows and MLOps practices to enable scalable deployment and monitoring
• Translate complex analyses into actionable insights for client projects and internal knowledge sharing
• Contribute to knowledge resources (documentation, research) on unstructured data, LLMs, and predictive modeling




• Support Wave product development to enhance how clients manage transformations and track impact
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and analytics-focused consultants across geographies

Responsabilidades
• MSc or PhD in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics or equivalent by experience
• 1+ years of data science experience and machine learning technique familiarity
• Programming in Python and SQL; basic PySpark understanding
• Experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude)
• Git and GitHub workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews)
• Experience deploying analytics/machine learning methods in real-world settings (CI/CD, deployment monitoring)
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering; scikit-learn; TensorFlow/PyTorch is a plus
• Exposure to Databricks and Tableau is a plus
• Strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
