Experteer Overview
In this role you ensure the stability, automation, and reliability of the data platforms and IT infrastructure supporting quantitative risk management at SIX Clearing. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines and robust systems in a mission-critical environment, while contributing to the quantitative risk methodologies framework in line with regulatory and group risk policies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data and risk computations for the Quant teams. This is an opportunity to shape risk infrastructure and support resilience in volatile markets.

• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases (tables, views, stored procedures, automation of data loads)
• Develop and run Python-based ETL pipelines for ingestion, validation, and quality control of financial data
• Integrate and manage market data flows from external and internal providers
• Build and maintain automated risk calculation processes in production
• Ensure platform reliability (Windows servers, monitoring, patching, incident resolution)



and support Docker-based environments
• Implement and operate DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments) for critical IT services continuity
• Develop and review quantitative risk models, stress tests, and scenario analysis to ensure resilience

Responsabilidades
• Strong experience in IT engineering / data platforms / infrastructure in financial or regulated environments
• Advanced expertise in SQL Server (data modeling, performance tuning, automation)
• Solid programming skills in Python (ETL, data processing, automation)
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, containerization such as Docker)
• Understanding of financial data and basic Quant risk concepts
• Strong analytical mindset, reliability under pressure, collaborative and able to operate in mission-critical environments
• Good communication skills in English and Spanish
