Experteer Overview
As a member of ABB Robotics’ Sevensense team, you will help build and maintain a high‑performing VSLAM software backbone. You will contribute to technology, software, and solution development while acting as the first Ru0026amp;D contact for product-related issues. You’ll write clean C++ and Python, design automated tests, and develop tooling to monitor algorithm behavior on field robots. This role sits in a fast, innovation‑driven environment with cross‑site collaboration between Sant Quirze del Vallès and Zurich, shaping scalable localization technology.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and maintain the VSLAM software backbone focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and introspection
• Produce and maintain high‑quality C++ and Python code; participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Design and maintain VSLAM‑centric automated tests, including integration and performance benchmarks
• Develop internal tooling for logging, KPI tracking, and data analysis for offline and on‑robot evaluation




• Collaborate with SLAM experts to integrate, deploy, and validate new algorithmic components
• Act as the first point of contact in Ru0026D for product‑related issues and maintenance

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field
• 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering, robotics or computer vision
• Strong C++ and Python skills with a passion for high‑quality code and performance
• Bonus: experience with SLAM, computer vision, or robotics systems
• Familiarity with profiling tools, performance tuning and debugging complex systems
• Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative team
• English communication proficiency
