We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Madrid. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale international hospitality, residential, office, and mixed‑use developments, supporting project delivery through advanced planning, scheduling, and project controls.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
-
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules and critical path analyses for complex projects using Primavera P6.
- Prepare and manage Level 5 detailed schedules, including workforce tracking, short‑term planning windows, workarounds, and risk‑related schedule updates.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose effective mitigation and recovery strategies.
Project Controls & Reporting

- Produce progress reports, schedule performance analyses, and executive‑level planning updates.
- Support project teams with accurate forecasting, including cash flow projections and progress measurement.
- Ensure planning deliverables align with project objectives, milestones, and client requirements.
Oracle Primavera & Aconex Integration

- Manage and optimize the interface between Primavera P6 and Oracle Aconex to ensure seamless coordination between scheduling, reporting, and document control processes.
- Maintain data integrity and support project teams in the effective use of both platforms.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, Construction teams, and key stakeholders to ensure planning requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support multidisciplinary teams by providing schedule insights and planning recommendations to facilitate informed decision‑making.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Proven experience on large‑scale hospitality, residential, office, or mixed‑use developments.
- Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, including schedule development, critical path analysis, and project controls.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Aconex and its integration with Primavera environments.
- Solid understanding of Level 5 planning methodologies, workforce tracking, risk register integration, workarounds, and short‑term planning updates.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional level of English, both written and spoken.
