Experteer Overview
As Global Fire and Explosion Safety Specialist, you will lead the Fire and Explosion Safety Program across our worldwide facilities, ensuring compliance with EN (EU) regulations, SEVESO, ATEX, and other standards. You’ll drive risk-based safety improvements, coordinate cross-functional strategies, and build local capabilities through training. This role focuses on safeguarding facilities, equipment, and projects while shaping a strong safety culture and operational excellence. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead the Fire and Explosion Safety Program and provide technical guidance
• Assess and safeguard prevention systems on BU TR facilities, tools, and equipment
• Develop and implement cross-functional strategies for safety measures and standards
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
• Provide training and develop technical competencies at local sites
• Define safety requirements during purchasing,
installation, commissioning, and maintenance
• Coordinate with Real Estate projects to ensure safety compliance
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement CAPA plans
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering with specialization in Fire and Explosion safety
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of EN (EU) Fire and Explosion Regulations, SEVESO, ATEX, British Standards, API, NFPA
• Experience in safety inspections and audits
• Ability to collaborate with insurance companies on prevention
• Strong safety and risk review skills for capital projects related to safety
• Willingness to travel globally (10–20%)
• Fluency in English
