As Lead Rust Engineer at ERNI’s International Service Delivery Center in Spain, you guide the technical direction for a cross-functional team delivering reliable, scalable lab software. You shape architecture, convert business needs into robust Rust services, and mentor engineers to perform at their best. You’ll work in a fast-paced, agile environment to tackle distributed systems challenges and drive high-quality delivery. Responsabilidades
• Strong hands-on Rust development experience (u003e4 years) with ownership, borrowing, lifetimes and async programming (async/await)
• Proficiency with Rust libraries/frameworks (Tokio, Actix-web, Rocket, Serde, SQL) and FFI
• Experience with Linux containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and scripting
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ), event-driven architecture, event stores, event sourcing, and actor models
• Experience with design patterns for distributed systems
• Exposure to AI-enabled software development and modern cloud-native architectures
• Familiar with DDD, TDD and BDD
• English fluent
• SAFe/Agile experience essential
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in software/electrical engineering or related field
• Nice to have: experience in regulated domains (medical devices), React UI testing, German language, ISAQB or similar architecture qualification
