Experteer Overview
In this Accountant role, you will manage core accounting operations for the assigned area within Valeo’s SSC General Ledger. You’ll ensure accurate recording of transactions, validate documents, and support month-end and year-end closings, including tax-related work. You will work closely with internal and external partners and help ensure compliance with local law, MAF standards, and internal ethics programs. This is a hands-on position in a global, diverse team contributing to Valeo’s financial integrity and sustainable mobility goals.

• Record accounting transactions in the assigned area according to local law and MAF standards
• Check primary documents requirements
• Ensure observance of internal audit LSF rules
• Maintain records archive
• Execute back-end accounting system operations (unblocking payments,



payments processing, item clearing)
• Prepare Balance Sheet justification
• Coordinate monthly/yearly closing with supporting documentation for local taxes
• Prepare and process VAT returns if required
• Process documents for audits and tax controls
• Integrate and control payroll in the accounting system
• Communicate with external and internal partners
• Investigate and resolve accounting differences (price, volume, payment)
• Check issued invoices
• Approve e-pro requests (account number checks)
• Contribute to Group Ethics u0026 Compliance program by applying Valeo policies
