About the Role

We are looking for a Medior Data Analyst to support a long-term initiative within the energy sector. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to improve data transparency, develop meaningful visualizations, and build data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making.

The role focuses on transforming complex simulation and operational data into actionable insights using modern analytics, data engineering, and visualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and improve data management processes, including data warehouses and data pipelines.
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets using Python.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Create clear and impactful visualizations from simulation and historical datasets.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing, validation, and automation.
- Identify inconsistencies in datasets and improve data quality.
- Compare simulation results with historical data and industry benchmarks.
- Present analytical findings and visualizations to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to continuously improve reporting and data accessibility.




- Support the development of user-friendly interfaces for exploring analytical data.

Required Skills

Mandatory

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Experience with:
- Data analysis
- Data mining
- Data transformation
- Data processing
- Data visualization
- Knowledge of data warehouses and data pipelines.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with React.js.
- Knowledge of ANTARES or other energy/economic dispatch simulation tools.
- Experience with market simulation or forecasting platforms.
- Understanding of energy systems or the electricity market.
