Business Controller (Benelux and France)

Our client manufactures and markets a full range of high-quality automotive and industrial lubricant products in over 100 markets internationally. They are now seeking a Business Controller to join the team in Belgium with responsibility for Benelux and France.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive the P&L; managerial process including budgeting, strategic and operational planning, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly/annual results
- Support the finance function on the monthly closing process, ensuring alignment between the income statement and balance sheet
- Provide robust analysis on business trends and explain variances from plan at country, business line, and product level
- Deliver performance insights and ad-hoc analysis to support sales and marketing functions, ensuring accurate forecasting
- Develop KPIs, identify business efficiency opportunities, and provide financial analysis for project evaluations

Must-Haves

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field




- Minimum 3 years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards and controlling principles
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into strategic insights
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High level of French and English language skills.
