Purchase Order Manager

For a leading US company with its European headquarters in Brussels, we are looking for a Purchase Order Manager. You will report to the Finance Manager.

This is not a procurement role. Instead, it is a finance-focused position where accounting knowledge, financial controls and process governance are essential.

Your responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop a team of Finance Operations professionals.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of vendor master data while ensuring compliance with financial controls.
- Partner closely with Accounting to support accurate financial reporting, month-end close and reconciliation activities.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, compliant and high-quality operations.
- Support ERP enhancements, finance transformation initiatives and business integration projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of Purchase-to-Pay processes, financial controls and operational efficiency.
- Act as the key contact for Finance Operations,



providing expert support to internal stakeholders.

Your profile

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent experience.
- Several years experience in accounting/controlling.
- 3+ years in financial management/leadership; experience with system-driven procurement processes.
- SAP MM/FI, S/4HANA, advanced Excel, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
