About the Role

A growing, innovation-driven company is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and optimize its modern data platform. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing a future-proof cloud data environment.

What you will do

- Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and data architecture.
- Integrate, transform, and manage data from multiple business systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable data models and support enterprise reporting.
- Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Contribute to data governance, security, and best practices.
- Support the organization's digital transformation through modern data engineering practices

Requirements

- Master's degree in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering,



or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, and dimensional data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and data integration/transformation techniques.
- Experience with Power BI, CRM platforms, and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of data security and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Dutch and English , French is a huge plus
