? Freelance Back-End .NET Developer | Brussels | Hybrid

We're looking for an experienced Freelance Back-End .NET Developer for a large public sector organization based in Brussels.

? Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

? Remote: 3 days remote / 2 days on-site per week

? Start: ASAP

? Initial contract: Until the end of the year, with a strong possibility of extension

Your role

You will join a cross-functional platform team working in a SAFe Agile environment. The team's main focus is enabling and expanding the organization's Azure Cloud platform while building reusable backend framework components for multiple development teams.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain backend solutions using C# and .NET Core
- Build reusable .NET framework components
- Analyze and resolve technical issues (2nd-line support)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing and software quality
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters




- Produce technical documentation and share knowledge with the team

Required profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, autonomous and collaborative mindset

? Language requirements (mandatory)

- Fluent in either Dutch or French
- Basic knowledge of the second national language (Dutch or French): able to understand and communicate at a basic written and spoken level
- English: able to read and understand technical documentation
