We are looking for a Data Engineer (6 years of experience) to join a one-year project in Brussels, Belgium. The role follows a hybrid work model, with 50% office presence. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines.
- Integrate data from different sources and systems.
- Structure and organize data in data warehouses and/or data lakes.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and availability.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Automate workflows and monitor pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with Data, IT, and business teams.

Must-Have Requirements

- Six years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python is required.
- Experience with Spark, Airflow, and dbt is required.
- Knowledge of data warehouse and data lake architectures is required.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is required.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling is required.
- English, French and Dutch proficiency.
