About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IP NOC Engineer to join a dynamic infrastructure and network operations team supporting a large-scale, business-critical enterprise network environment. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving complex IP network infrastructures across multiple sites and data centers.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern networking technologies while contributing to the stability, security, and evolution of mission-critical network services.

Key Responsibilities

Network Monitoring & Operations

- Monitor enterprise IP network infrastructure using network management and monitoring tools.
- Analyze alarms, incidents, and performance indicators across networking platforms.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of network services.

Configuration & Maintenance

- Act as the primary point of contact for network-related requests from internal technical teams.
- Configure, maintain, and support network devices and services.
- Perform hardware staging, installation, replacement, and configuration when required.
- Execute configuration changes and standard operational tasks in accordance with established procedures.
- Most activities are performed remotely, with occasional on-site interventions in data centers or office locations.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

- Perform first-level troubleshooting and event correlation.
- Escalate complex incidents to senior network engineers or architects when necessary.
- Implement temporary workarounds to restore services quickly.
- Coordinate incident resolution with hardware vendors and service providers.
- Track incidents through to successful resolution.





Documentation & Continuous Improvement

- Maintain accurate network documentation, inventories, diagrams, and configuration records.
- Create and update operational procedures and knowledge documentation.
- Share technical knowledge with team members through documentation and on-the-job coaching.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in network operations and support processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Electronics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Around 5 years of experience in IP Network Operations or Network Support.
- Strong operational knowledge of enterprise IP networking in multi-site and data center environments.
- Hands-on experience with:

-Cisco routers and switches

-Juniper networking equipment

-Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls

-F5 Load Balancers

-Cisco ISE

-VPN technologies

-DHCP, DNS, and IP Address Management (Infoblox)

- Experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.
- Good understanding of network security principles and firewall technologies.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize operational incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Willingness to continuously learn and expand technical expertise.

Languages

- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Good command of either French or Dutch.

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting large enterprise or critical infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of data center networking.
- Experience with ITIL-based operational processes.
- Familiarity with Visio and network documentation best practices.
