Atos is hiring a Principal GIS Developer to build geospatial software that turns location data into real decisions. You'll bring deep technical expertise and help shape how spatial systems are designed and scaled.

What you'll bring

- 8+ years of hands-on GIS development experience
- Strong command of GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, GRASS) and programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java)
- Solid knowledge of geospatial data formats (e.g. LuciadLightspeed, GeoJSON, KML, GML),



spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial), and web mapping frameworks (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers)
- Comfortable with Git, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with spatial analysis, geospatial data modelling, performance tuning, and integrating with ML or real-time data systems

Nice to have

- Experience architecting GIS solutions for large-scale, real-time, or cloud-native applications
- Geospatial ML (e.g. TensorFlow) or 3D visualisation (Cesium, ArcGIS 3D)

Education & languages

Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or equivalent hands-on experience.

English (C1).
