Freelance Busbar Termination Technician – Data Centre Project

Location: Hainaut, Belgium

Contract: Freelance

Duration: Initial 2-month contract

Start: August 2026

We are currently seeking experienced Freelance Busbar Termination Technicians/Jointers to support the final electrical installation phase of a major data centre project in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

- Carry out final MV busbar terminations and connections.
- Connect busbar systems to switchgear, transformers, UPS systems and electrical distribution equipment.
- Install versátil busbar links and complete final electrical connections.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Perform torque checks and ensure installations comply with project specifications and safety standards.
- Support testing, commissioning and energisation activities.

Requirements

- Proven experience carrying out busbar terminations and final MV electrical connections.




- Previous experience on data centre, substation or industrial electrical infrastructure projects.
- Experience connecting busbars to switchgear and transformers.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and installation drawings.
- Fluent English (additional languages are advantageous).

Mandatory Documentation

Candidates must already hold, or be willing to obtain before mobilisation:

- Limosa Declaration
- VCA Certificate (or training booked)
- A1 Certificate

- Full-time, site-based in Hainaut, Belgium
