We are looking for a Data Scientist (6 years of experience) to join a one-year project in Brussels, Belgium. The role follows a hybrid work model, with 50% office presence. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

- Develop statistical, predictive and machine learning models.
- Analyse large volumes of data to address business challenges.
- Prepare, clean and transform data for analysis and modelling.
- Identify patterns, trends and opportunities.
- Evaluate, validate and optimise model performance.
- Present results and recommendations to technical and business teams.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts and other stakeholders.
- Document methodologies, models and results.

Must-Have Requirements

- Six years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, predictive modelling and data preparation.
- English, French and Dutch proficiency.
